You will receive training from a certified professional. Former Royal Marine John Sullivan has trained in the Jungle, Desert and Arctic and has also worked with the BBC on programmes such as ‘Last Man Standing’ and ‘Extreme Dreams’.
Learn from a true survivor, in a fun and interactive way, how to live without any mod-cons in this day-long survival training course in beautiful Northamptonshire woodland!

• Survival psychology.
• Explanation of a survival tin and how to maximise its use.
• The principals of fire and how get one lit using limited materials.
• Water purification methods.
• Explanation of a compass and how to use one.
• The self rescue procedure.
• Shelter building.
• Useful knots.
• Improvised stretcher making for casualty evacuation.
• Observation stand, how to maximise being found and rescued.
• The layout of camp for long-term survival success.
All of the above skills will be put to the test in a fun, interactive survival competition at the end of the day’s training.What is included?

Where does this activity take place?
The training course is run in Salcey Forest, Northamptonshire. It can also be run at suitable conference centres that have an outdoor area.
Can lunch be provided?
Salcey Forest has a cafeteria which can cater for all. Lunch is at an additional cost.
